Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is located on the southern shore of Lake Michigan. To the south are Interstate 94 and Interstates 80/90. Both interstates will provide close access to the area. This seashore is 15 miles long and has 15,000 acres. Woods, dunes, marshes and rivers are along the 45 miles of trails. Hiking, biking, swimming, fishing and cross country skiing are some of the activities that are available to guests.

Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is located to the east of Evansville in the southern section of Indiana. It is just south of Interstate 64. The exhibits and structures on the property honor President Lincoln and his accomplishments. George Rogers Clark National Historic Park honors the general and his men who captured Fort Sackville from the British. The site is located on the Wabash River at Vincennes which is directly north of Evansville. Vincennes is on the western border of the state and north of Interstate 64.
